Olimpiai Sportpark (OSP) – Training facility

The Olympic Sport Park was built for the XIV. European Youth Olympic Festival and it served as the venue for the gymnastic, judo, tennis, and athletic competitions.

The complexity of the 8 hectare sport park is well visible, when we realize that it consists of 4 great sport halls: a multisport hall, a gymnasium, a judo and a wrestling hall. In addition, there are a practice and a large athletics court, a running corridor, and 4 indoor and 5 outdoor tennis courts on the premises. The facility has seen further developments since the EYOF and welcomes sports federations, training camps and of course residents of Győr, who would like to take up some sports.

THE MOST MODERN MULTIFUNCTIONAL HALL IN WEST-HUNGARY

The Audi Aréna Győr has opened its doors with a full house event in November 2014. The title sponsor is Audi Hungaria Motor Ltd. for ten years. The 5,5 billion Forint worthy investment resulted a 5500 seats capacity complex, which serves as home for the four-time Champions League winner Audi ETO KC Győr. Because of its multifunctional use it is perfect for international sport events, classical and popular music shows and concerts, other performances, conferences and exhibitions.

The new, variable capacity Aréna is built together with the existing Magvassy Mihály Sports Hall, and so result an event center, which has 16 thousand quadrat meter foot print, and has a parking place for 1050 cars within 200 m.

A part of the spectator stands are mobile in the Aréna, and so it is easily adjustable for the needs of the event, increasing the field and decreasing the number of the seats. It is also possible to place 1700 seats on the sport field, and build a 30x10 m podium. The Aréna ensures complex audio- and light technique, and provides a satisfactory TV and visual technique also.
